Magnet therapy, that is supposed to have a market of $5-billion worldwide, is one of the aspects of alternative medicine therapy. The therapy claims that magnetic fields have a lot of healing powers. Magnet therapy helps in stimulating the earth’s magnetic field. It allows your body to be in an optimum environment that will allow it to to heal in itself.
The concept of magnet therapy was enhanced when a group of University of Virginia researchers, who were involved in the investigation of effects of magnetic therapy on microcirculation, came to a conclusion that magnets are really helpful in reducing swelling when applied immediately after any kind of inflammatory injury.
