My son was constantly complaining how tired he is. John is in his middle twenties and had just started a new job in Human Resources.

“I am so tired, “he sighed. “I’m dragging through the whole day. I’m exhausted when I get home after a  hectic working day, I feel like going straight to bed, but when I do so, I feel so helpless that I can't really sleep. I am suffering from something.”
“How long you have been feeling like this,” I asked.
“Three-Four weeks,” he answered.

John’s new job was causing him to deal with extra stress. This extra stress was decreasing his energy level which could actually end up making him sick. He was not sleeping properly, even though he was totally exhausted and tired. Time to take stock, I told him.

The first thing is how to manage the stress.
Try Meditation: you must do it once a day, for around 20 minutes. You must sit in a restful spot alone.

I don't want any telephone calls, no television, all I meant to say that there should be no sound distractions.
Shut the window blinds, turn off the lights (make it dim), put your feet up and now close your eyes and relax.

Create a beautiful scenery in your mind
like some beach, the waves of the ocean, the soft rain drops. Many people prefer to choose a mantra, a word or something like that which has no meaning, to think about when meditating.
After the 20 are over, you should slowly try to come out of your restful state.

Take another few minutes to get up. Sit in that position and try to relax. You can do meditation at  any time of the day which is the most convenient for you. But you must make sure that you do it everyday at the same time, if possible.

My son now meditates just before he goes to bed. It helps him to fall asleep in the most rejuvenating way. Meditation according to me is a healer of the mind.

The next thing is to concentrate on the right kind of food:
Just think about the food items that you eat. Certain foods act as a very good fatigue fighters such as  Protein and Complex Carbohydrates. I would love to example of beans, nuts, whole grains, and, yes, some red meat. Even foods like Garlic, onions, and artichokes are a very good fatigue fighters and also are immune boosters.

Finally I will end my discussion with the mention of sunlight. It can aid bone health, immune function, and helps in regulating blood pressure. Lots of studies are conducted which show that Vitamin D can help fight cancer and a host of other problems.
