In 2006, 16% children aged between the age group of 2-15 were classified as obese. This percentage represents a 11% increase from the previous year. Although, most people are aware of the importance of healthy living and losing weight. The only problem is the excuses, which they make to avoid losing weight. Here are some of the common excuses, which hinders a person to pursue a good weight loss goal:
  • Busy Schedules – It is one of the most common excuses made by people to avoid their exercise regimen and good health program. Your healthy will greatly benefit from a simple walk or jog daily.
  • Too Tired – I agree that working, studying, or doing household chores can make you tired and exhausted. But do you know that certain exercises can actually help you relax. Even a simple yoga can help you get over stress and improve health.
  • No Extra Money – Most people find investing in health food and healthy program are wastage of money. You'd surprised to know that healthy foods are much cheaper than eating out in fast food chains. For example, an apple costs much less than a hamburger. Moreover, you can also do simple exercise at home.
  • Embarrassing to Visit Public Gyms – Most people feel inferior to join those sexy and macho people in the gym. If you fall in this category then look for other options to exercise such as buying your own home gym.
  • No Hope – One of the basic problem behind weight loss diets is lack of confidence. It will divert you from your main goals, which finally leads to giving up on your weight loss diet.
  • Therefore, instead of making excuses to avoid losing weight all you have to do is identify your goals and stick to it.
