When we talk about the cerebral injuries, a lot of people mistakenly prognosticate all types of inter cranial (under skull) bleeding and they name them as concussions. But let me tell you that not all of them are concussions!

This is a flawed diagnosis as concussions are only closed head injuries. Here are some of the conclusions: the fact is that it can range from mild concussions that means that you will not face much loss of consciousness to severe concussions that lead to prolonged blackouts. Now let us discuss some of the causes that are linked with concussions:
  1.  It is caused due to impact of an external force on the brain. Because of this fact the brain is pushed into a state of deep trauma.
  2. A car accident, or may be any other incident that resulted in a headlong collision with a foreign object are some of the common causes of this!
  3. Here are some the symptoms that are linked with it:
  4. This includes spans of unconsciousness after impact. Some even face some kind of headache that is often accompanied by bouts of nausea and vomiting.
  5. He mat also face blurring of the vision. That means that the case is serious
  6. There may follow periods of confusion and disarray.
  7. Concussion and memory loss are sometimes inter-related. As far as memory loss is concerned, tit occurs as an inevitable consequence of concussion.
Some of the extreme cases when one must take special care are:
  1. In the event the victim falls from a great height and also when he falls on a very hard ground, that may prove to be serious!
  2. other serious case is that when the injured person remains unconscious for more than a minute or so!
  3. The victim succumbs to bouts of vomiting and also faces loads of physical weakness as well.
