There are a lot of reasons and aspects that are causes of dark of dark circles under eyes. The major ones are:

Like a lot of skin diseases, dark circles under the eyes can also sometimes come under a heredity factor. Sometimes, it becomes very common that people living in the same family suffer from similar dark circles. It is due to the fact that the skin under the eyes is very thin. As a result, the veins are easily visible from the surface of the skin, that can result in the appearance of a blue or dark color.
