Gerd- Gastroesophageal Reflux disease should be treated well before time, otherwise it can lead to severe disorders in the body. Other types of treatments are: The patient may take  counter medications, like antacids, that are responsible for acting as a temporary solution, as the medication  relieves heartburn by neutralizing the stomach acids for a temporary period of time.
