Concerned about How To Care For Aging Skin? Its time to give attention to a natural process that is overlooked by many of us as a part of skin care. And that process is sleep. It is very important and essential for our body to re-energize and replenish its tissues and cells. You should give priority to getting regular nightly rest, when it comes to care for your skin.

Sleep is generally defined as natural and temporary loss of a person’s consciousness. All systems of your body function normally when you get a proper sleep. The largest organ of your body i.e sleep is very much dependent on sleep. It undergoes many functions to remain healthy and thus it is an important factor to see, how you care for aging skin. A body works for 24 hour, thus, it is necessary to sleep at least for 8 hours in a day.

Sleep is categorized to eye movement and there are 2 main distinct stages for this. One is REM (rapid eye movement) and the other is Non-REM. Delta sleep, which is a sub-stage of REM sleep. Non-REM accounts for half of one night sleep, thus it is a very important stage for your skin. Brain enters this sub-stage after every 90 minutes and it lengthens with each repeated cycle. Growth hormones peak and tissue repair is done during the delta sleep. And this is the whole process by which body cares for damaged skin and aging.

Your body also repairs the damage caused by ultraviolet rays and other harmful substances during the sleep time. Repairing work from stress is also done during that period. A restorative process is carried at this time, where many hormones are released while you are sleeping. It has been found that cells produce more protein while you sleep. Protein is the building block for healing and also enables the cells to repair damage. It also enables cells to repair damage and is the building blocks for healing. All the decreasing energy stores are replenished, cellular damage is repaired and new ells grow in the process.

Lack of sleep also interferes with the normal functioning of body. Night is an important time period for your body to mend and renew itself. Your entire body as well as the entire skin is renewed during this time. If you want to prevent wrinkles and save your skin from severe disease like acne, blisters and darkening, it is important to get enough sleep at night and do not overlook it. If you avoid taking proper sleep, your skin will be the first to show the symptoms. It will become grey, dry and appear to be dull. Therefore, everyone should ensure that they maintain a regular schedule of sleep daily.
