Dyslexia Training
There are a lot of people in this world who are suffering from such a disease as dyslexia. The word "Dyslexia" comes from the Greek word. It means "Dys"- which means impaired and "Lexis"- word.
Dyslexia have a range that starts from easy and goes till severe conditions. There are several types and symptoms of this illness. Every type is identified by the features of every person separately. There is no one who is a "typical dyslexia type".
In general, dyslexia is a disorder that deals with the learning disability of brain, specially in terms of reading and writing or spelling the words.
Dyslexia is occurred as a result of neurological disability in human beings. This happens when people do not remember the names of certain things, or they are not able to "connect" the name of a particular thing with its definition. They tend to mix the numbers. It is noticed that girls are less dyslectic than boys. There are two kinds of dyslexia- one is genetic and the other one is acquired:
Genetico, as the names suggests, transfers through the genes. But the later one is occurs when the area of the brain is damaged in the left hemisphere. This area is responsible for language areas. So, we all should know that it is very important to understand the disorder and know as to how to treat it. What are the ways to prevent the development of the disease? Dyslexia training plays a very important role in understanding all these factors. But it is very difficult.
This particular statement has two sides. One aspect is that the patients who are affected with it are really hard to understand. These people find it really hard to remember things, combine things, sounds, colors, meanings and definitions.
The other aspect of the statement is that there is a very urgent need to train healthy people so that they can help people who are suffering with dyslexia.
So let us know about the symptoms of the disease:
People avoid any kind of task where reading and writing is involved.
They avoid reading, especially reading aloud.
They find common excuses so that they don't have to read. For example: ("...didn't bring my glasses."
They avoid print media and rather go in favor of electronic media like television, movies or other graphic media.
These people face difficulties in transcribing telephone numbers.
Dyslexic people, specially children leave out certain parts of a word/words or confuse their order. For example, "aluminum" can change into "amulium."
These people Pause, hesitate, often say "um", "uh" or "ah" in the speaking process.
Children use words like "stuff" and "things," instead of proper names.
